Back in My Day ...
While I was up in Portland hanging out with some gals from my high school, we were pondering how much harder it is for teen-agers to be bad these days. When I was 16, double piercing your ear was considered a little dangerous. (I did mine with a rusty safety pin after getting grounded for running away from home, so I got bonus points.)
We were pretty glad we didn't have to consider obligatory tattoos, navel piercings, tongue piercings, or piercings in places you wouldn't have to worry about your parents seeing.
And then I see this story (and photo): How to slice apart with your tongue as "art."
